These are the tracks used in our Carbon Dating installation. Sharman's Gate is played by Boyd, the birds are Bimblebox Dawn Chorus, they were told by Clive Palmer they can "fly off" to make way for his giant open cut coal mine. The shorter tracks, activated in the work by pressing a button, are recordings of an old windmill pump at Fowler's Gap research station on the Silver City Highway north of Broken Hill.
