The Coalface soundtrack

Like a cry of protest, the soundtrack for this work is an enormous collaborative effort – musicians from all around the world have given voice to the birds of Bimblebox Nature Refuge. Each one of the 153 species of birds sighted there has a human musician advocate, who gives voice to the bird through the musical interpretation of its call.
