Pat Hickman (Hawaii, USA) heads the Fibre Program in the Art Department at the University of Hawaii. In works suggesting skin and skeletal structure, materials of plant and animal origin are knotted and strung, latticed with light. Her work was seen in Australia in 1999, when "Skin" was exhibited at the Gallery of the University of Tasmania.
